Trevor Green is a 9-year-old, Grade 4 student at Mount Slaven Public School in Orillia, Ontario.

His assignment was to build a Medieval Castle using recycled items. Trevor started with an empty beer case and used everything from empty Pringle containers to Uncle Ben’s Minute Rice boxes. Pizza boxes taped together where used as a base and covered with a green rubber matting purchased at a dollar store. Other materials include popsicle sticks, dried straw for thatched roofs, blue garbage bags for his moat. A download of a stone wall graphic was used as wallpaper for Trevor’s castle (www.rain.org/~philfear/castle.html).

We're pleased to say Trevor got an A++!

Good thing too as the attack begins!

An important, yet often over-looked part of any castle is the livestock.
