The model figures represent panzergrenadiers fighting in Kharkov in 1943, but their functional poses are versatile for whatever use diorama makers can conjure up. Details on the figures are sharp, as are their Gen 2 weapons and personal gear. Their facial expressions are particularly noteworthy, being sculpted by famous Japanese sculptor Hirano Yoshitaka for maximum lifelike look. One interesting aspect of this set is the folded MG tripod being carried on the back of one of the panzergrenadiers - this is an entirely new piece of molding. This is an exciting new Gen 2 set that is destined for many wintry dioramas, and the realism of the poses is quite exceptional. Includes separate parts for bolt mechanism and accurate ammo clips plus photo-etched parts. |
