The set contains 9 model soldiers comprising of 1 officer and 8 gunners plus 2 gun models. The heads and arms are interchangeable to enable the assembly of different postures. These are not new sculpts but are packaged with models and parts from previous sets to facilitate collectors who are interested in the guerrilla war aspects of the Peninsular War. To assemble such a set would have required the collector to purchase multiple sets for all the relevant parts.The gunners are wearing fatigue dress which is quite similar to the shell jacket. They are equipped with infantry muskets and thus carry the cartridge box and bayonet on shoulder belts. For garrison duties, both the wrapped shako and bonnet are preferred in Spain. These models can also be used for the Mexican Army at the Alamo. Each gun will be provided with two barrels: gun and howitzer. The Officer will also have two options set-up: bicorne and bonnet.
