Green Stuff World's model painting pigments are ultra-fine powder pigments designed to add realistic weathering, dirt, dust, and aging effects to miniatures, models, vehicles, miniature bases, scenery, and dioramas. Their high color concentration allows you to recreate natural finishes such as dried mud, desert dust, accumulated dirt, rust, soot, ash, or industrial grime, transforming any clean surface into a piece with greater depth, history, and visual realism.

These modeling pigments can be applied dry with a soft brush to achieve dusty and subtle effects, or mixed with water, acrylic thinners, mediums, or pigment fixatives to create more intense and permanent accumulations. This versatility makes them an ideal tool for both quick weathering jobs and more elaborate effects on tank tracks, vehicle undersides, ruins, wargame bases, arid terrain, rusted areas, or battle scenes.

Thanks to their fine, easy-to-control texture, they allow for layering, correcting excess, and combining with other techniques such as washes, oil paints, drybrushing, chipping, effect paints, vegetation, sand, or texture paint. On matte or slightly rough surfaces, they offer excellent visual integration, helping to blend the miniature with its surroundings and providing a more natural finish in fantasy, science fiction, historical, military, railway, or display diorama projects.

For greater durability, especially on miniatures intended for gaming or pieces that are frequently handled, it is recommended to set the pigments with a specific fixative or a light coat of matte varnish. Because they remain stable and ready to use for a long time, these earth pigments are a practical and effective option for any hobbyist looking to enhance the realism of their bases, scenery, and models with professional environmental effects.
