| The Panhard 178 was an advanced French reconnaissance 4x4 armored car that was designed for the French Cavalry before World War II. AMD 35 type Afrique francaise du Nord, not very different from the standard version: apart from small internal fittings changes. Kit features multi-part frame with exterior detail and rivets, separate turret and hatch, excellent driver's and fighting compartment interiors, complete chassis frame, engine with driveline, transmission, radiator and fan, rubber tires, separately molded on-vehicle equipment, 25mm SA 35 cannon and Reibel machine gun. Decals and color markings for (4) vehicles: (x2) 3d platoon, France, Spring 1940 (6th CUIR, 1st DLM and 8th CUIR, 2d DLM); (x2) France, Spring 1940 (2d GRDI and unknown). |
